Built of Lakeland stone in the late 1880s and sympathetically renovated in 2019, Bumble Choo offers three superb bedrooms - super king/twin, king and king - and three bathrooms - two ensuite and one luxurious family bathroom with roll top bath and separate waterfall shower. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer. It includes a breakfast bar, which can also serve as a work-station. Through the delightful boot room with window seat, you will find a cosy lounge complete with log burning stove, Victorian tiled floor and other traditional features - see if you can spot the original door bell! With seating for six, it's the perfect place to relax and plan your next day's Lake District adventure.
The cottage has private gated parking for two cars, with two EV charging ports. Bumble Choo is also very well connected for public transport with Windermere train and bus station only five minutes walk away. Lovingly restored to a very high standard, Bumble Choo is the ideal choice for a special and relaxing stay in the lakes with family or friends.
The splendid dining room is to the front of the property. Beautifully decorated, with stunning parquet floor, it has a large table which comfortably seats six, as well as a snug window seat where you can curl up with a good book. Outside there is a south facing patio with table and chairs - perfect for an al fresco drink at the end of an active day enjoying all the Lake District has to offer.
